Arquus has announced a contract to deliver 12 Sherpa station wagon vehicles equipped with Akeron missile launchers to the Cypriot National Guard. Revealed in Athens, the deal includes French-made vehicles armed with MBDA’s advanced warhead systems. The agreement follows a successful trial conducted in Cyprus in September 2022, where Akeron-equipped Sherpas demonstrated their firepower against targets at ranges of 2,500 to 3,000 meters in both autonomous and collaborative modes.
