Celebrating its fifth year in Latvia, Patria has joined forces with GDELS-Santa Barbara Sistemas to produce and maintain ASCOD infantry fighting vehicles locally. The work will be done at the Defence Partnership Latvia site in Valmiera, which also marks its first anniversary. This facility, a collaboration between Patria and Unitruck, is already producing PATRIA 6×6 armored carriers. With this new agreement, production of ASCOD vehicles is scheduled to start soon, with initial units expected to be completed by June 2026.
