Anduril Industries has secured a $200 million contract to use its Anvil counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technology to strengthen the US Marine Corps’ Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS). The business claims that the Anvil will provide the MADIS the ability to autonomously intercept small enemy drones with low-collateral kinetics. It ensures a high chance of success in difficult environments by maintaining target lock and providing accurate terminal guidance through the employment of state-of-the-art onboard processing components and sensors.
