Bell Textron’s FLRAA program enters a new phase with GE Aerospace developing the platform’s core avionics infrastructure. Under a key subcontractor role, GE will deliver a mission-critical digital backbone designed for high-speed, synchronized communication between combat systems via Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN).

These advanced avionics will form the core of mission execution capabilities, offering deterministic communication, system redundancy, and a scalable design that facilitates long-term upgrades. In doing so, GE supports one of the cornerstones of Army modernization, replacing legacy rotary platforms with systems ready for next-gen aerial warfare challenges.

This development tracks with the Army’s shift toward network-enabled, data-dominant platforms that can function effectively across distributed battlefields, where synchronization of sensors, shooters, and decision nodes is vital.
