Northrop Grumman has won two contracts worth $1.4 billion to supply Poland and the United States with air and missile defense systems.The first contract is for $481 million and will last for five years. It will offer software development improvements for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) to the US Army’s Aviation Missile & Technology Consortium. Northrop Grumman will use artificial intelligence (AI), model-based systems engineering, Polish sensors, and the UK’s Common Anti-Air Modular Missile system to increase IBCS capacity.
