In order to support the army’s Synergy of Contact Reinforced by Versatility and Infovalorization (SCORPION) program, France has acquired 530 Serval 4×4 Lightweight Multirole Armored Vehicles. French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced the agreement, which calls for the equipment to be delivered between 2025 and 2031. The contract also includes the provision of 97 more vehicles, which will be acquired in accordance with army requirements. If every option is exercised, the deal might total more than 1 billion euros ($1.03 billion).
