The US Navy has selected CACI International for a $416-million, five-year task order aimed at upgrading and sustaining enterprise-level IT systems supporting maritime maintenance and fleet readiness. Executed under the oversight of Naval Sea Systems Command, the award underscores the Navy’s commitment to digitally transforming sustainment operations for both ships and submarines.

Awarded via the SeaPort-NxG framework, the contract advances the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution, a flagship program focused on unifying maintenance and logistics processes across the naval enterprise. By consolidating fragmented systems, the initiative seeks to improve data visibility, accelerate maintenance workflows, and support more effective readiness planning.

CACI will modernize legacy platforms using cloud-native technologies, Agile development practices, and advanced automation aligned with Industry 4.0 standards. Through its Agile Solution Factory model, the company will deliver scalable, secure, and interoperable IT capabilities that enable predictive maintenance, better asset utilization, and reduced lifecycle costs.

The task order aligns with a series of recent Navy IT modernization investments. In early 2026, General Dynamics Information Technology secured a nearly $1-billion contract to upgrade naval C5ISR capabilities, while multiple cybersecurity and network sustainment awards were issued in late 2025. Collectively, these programs reflect the Navy’s strategy to strengthen digital resilience, cybersecurity, and operational effectiveness across global maritime operations.
