Roketsan, one of Turkey’s leading defense manufacturers, has launched a new unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) called KOZ, which is now ready for operational deployment. The platform features a dog-like quadrupedal design, enabling it to move steadily through rough, uneven terrain, making it ideal for navigating the unpredictable conditions of modern battlefields.
KOZ can be operated in autonomous or remote-control modes, allowing flexibility depending on mission requirements. It’s capable of carrying up to four guided munitions and delivering them into high-risk zones, helping reduce the exposure of frontline troops during dangerous operations.
The robot is equipped with a two-hour operational limit, offering ample time for various tactical missions. KOZ reflects a shift toward robotic warfare technologies that combine mobility, firepower, and intelligent control systems. Roketsan’s introduction of this platform showcases Turkey’s growing capability in fielding advanced robotic systems for defense and national security.
