Insitu, a Boeing company, has agreed to pay $102.3 million to supply the US Navy with more RQ-21 Blackjack and MQ-27 ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems. The contract calls for the distribution of 47 MQ-27 surveillance and reconnaissance aerial vehicles and 21 RQ-21A small tactical drones for use by the US military’s overseas sales clients, naval force operations, and other “business partnership capacity efforts.” System payloads, turrets, support equipment, spare parts, tools, and training are all included in the package.
