The commercial technology from Xona is rapidly becoming a major contender in the US military’s search for GPS substitutes. The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) recently awarded the company a $4.6-million contract to show how its positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) system may help with military operations.
