In Henderson, Western Australia, Austal handed over the eighth Evolved Cape-class patrol boat to the Royal Australian Navy. As part of Canberra’s continuous effort to replace the service’s Armidale boats, which have been in operation since the 2000s, ten vessels, including the ADV Cape Schanck (313), are planned.In September 2024, ADV Cape Solander (312), the seventh ship in the fleet, arrived.
