The U.S. State Department has approved a potential Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Netherlands valued at $1.42 billion (€1.32 billion) for radio equipment, as announced by the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) on 16 October 2024. The proposed sale has been submitted to the U.S. Congress for final approval. The Netherlands has requested the following non-Major Defense Equipment: AN/PRC-117G radios, AN/PRC-152A radios, AN/PRC-160 radios, AN/PRC-163 radios, AN/PRC-167 radios, tactical key loaders, network encryptors, technical assistance from government and contractors, spares, and related logistics and program support elements.
