Aircraft radar warning receivers (RWRs) with AI and ML capabilities have been made available for the first time by RTX. The state-of-the-art technology integrates AI/ML models into legacy RWRs by utilizing the company’s Cognitive Algorithm Deployment System (CADS). By integrating Deepwave’s computing stack with the newest Embedded Graphics Processing Unit, the CADS enables threat processing at the sensor level. As a result, the RWR can more efficiently identify, categorize, and rank risks by applying cognitive approaches.
