Thales UK has delivered the first of the Royal Navy’s four end-to-end autonomous minehunting systems. With artificial intelligence for automatic target recognition and the ability to operate remotely or autonomously, the 12-meter (39-foot) unmanned surface vessel RNMB “Ariadne” improves capabilities and protects crew members from dangerous minehunting operations.
