The German Armed Forces have signed with Teledyne FLIR Defense to supply its Black Hornet 4 Personal Reconnaissance Systems. An unspecified quantity of the nano drones, as well as training and replacement parts, are included in the agreement. The project will be carried out over a two-year period in collaboration with European Logistic Partners, a Wuppertal-based regional distribution business. When the unmanned aerial systems are deployed, they will join the more than 33,000 Black Hornet drones that Teledyne FLIR has already shipped to almost 50 countries.
