Nammo has secured a 1.8-billion Swedish kroner ($186 million) contract with Sweden to provide small-caliber ammunition under a new 10-year framework agreement—the largest such deal awarded to the company by the Swedish government. Ammunition deliveries are scheduled between 2026 and 2028, aimed at ensuring reliable supply amid global production constraints. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson visited Nammo’s Karlsborg facility in southern Sweden to discuss plans for increasing production capacity.
