Schiebel has rolled out the Camcopter S-101 and S-301, expanding its portfolio into the armed UAS sector. Both drones build upon the S-100 baseline, with the S-301 further extending the S-300’s larger payload of 250 kilograms, a fivefold increase over the S-100. The systems are engineered to employ in-service rockets and missiles, meeting demands for adaptable armed platforms. The company’s defense arm, Schiebel Defence GmbH, led the effort, ensuring suitability in electromagnetic warfare environments. Hans Georg Schiebel noted that armed UAS demand is surging globally, and the launch demonstrates Schiebel’s readiness to provide mission-ready platforms for complex operations.
