Saab has landed a deal to outfit the new frigate of the Colombian Navy with sophisticated radars, sensors, and management systems. The agreement covers advanced sensors and radars for Colombia’s Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie frigate program, as well as the 9LV Combat Management System and the 9LV Fire Control System. Saab will also supply the Sea Giraffe 4A radars, the EOS 500 electro-optical fire control director, and the Ceros 200 radar as part of the delivery.
