Saab announced on 13 December 2024 that it has secured an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to deliver its Sea Giraffe 1X radar systems to the Swedish Navy. Valued at approximately SEK 340 million (EUR 29.5 million), the contract includes systems in various configurations for both training purposes and installation on surface vessels, with deliveries scheduled through 2026.
