Raytheon has secured a $536 million deal to supply the U.S. Navy with SPY-6 radars and a comprehensive support package including training programs, onboard integration, and software enhancements.

The contract will extend through 2026, ensuring the smooth installation and performance optimization of the radars across multiple ship classes.

Currently active on two ships, the SPY-6 radar system is in the process of being added to three more. Over the next 10 years, the Navy plans to equip over 60 vessels with this advanced technology to ensure cutting-edge maritime threat detection and response capabilities.
