The UK has awarded a comprehensive support contract to General Atomics for the sustainment and logistics of the RAF’s Protector RG Mk1 drones.
Titled UK PASS, the deal also supports simulation training tools and ground-based control systems. It’s a component of the SkyGuardian Global Support Solutions (SGSS) program shared with other MQ-9B clients including India and Taiwan.
SGSS streamlines drone support by combining labor and supply efforts across countries, improving cost-efficiency and responsiveness.
