SMARTSHOOTER has been awarded a $13 million contract to equip the US Army with SMASH 2000L fire control devices, also marketed as SMASH 3000. The system uses AI and advanced tracking to aid soldiers in precision targeting, especially during assault missions. Weighing only 740 grams and designed for extended battery life, the device supports up to 72 hours of continuous operation. This procurement is part of the “Transformation In Contact” initiative aimed at fast-tracking modern tech in military service. The contract work will be handled by SMARTSHOOTER’s Virginia-based subsidiary.
