Nuburu’s Lyocon unit has tested a new portable counter-drone laser system aimed at protecting troops from unmanned aerial threats. The compact directed-energy weapon is designed for rapid field deployment and can be attached to rifles for easier targeting and mobility. The system uses multiple laser wavelengths, including green, blue, and infrared, to interfere with drone electronics and sensors. The technology represents a new generation of lightweight non-kinetic weapons designed to neutralize drones in modern battlefields.
