Poland has signed a new logistical and service support agreement with Turkish manufacturer Baykar to improve the operability of its fleet of 24 Bayraktar TB2 drones. The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) started the deal, which includes three years of tactical drone maintenance to guarantee mission readiness.The NSPA allows for an extra two-year extension of the agreement.Poland is anticipated to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank with the new contract in the face of escalating geopolitical tensions in Europe.
