More than $15.3 million in contracts have been awarded to Performance Drone Works (PDW) for the delivery of its exclusive C100 small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) to the US Army. The Alabama-based business claims that the drones will help the force’s posture in high-profile battlefields, with the majority being dispersed among the Central Command, European, and Indo-Pacific areas of responsibility.It is anticipated that the “game-changing” capabilities will offer tactical air support and medium-range reconnaissance.
