Oshkosh Defense has been contracted by the US Army to deliver 55 Medium Equipment Trailers under a $27.6-million deal.
This continues a multi-year acquisition strategy to procure up to 557 METs, with the latest order following a 2023 contract for 57 trailers.
The trailers are expected to bolster the Army’s strategic transport capabilities during modernization.
Officials say the vehicles offer dependable transport options for heavy equipment.
The build will be supported by Broshuis BV of the Netherlands, and delivery timelines remain unannounced.
