NP Aerospace has landed a contract to produce armored personnel pods for use in Canada’s Logistics Vehicle Modernization initiative.
The contract, spanning three years, covers design, test trials, certification, and module integration on the updated military transport fleet.
Each armored unit will match ISO container standards, measuring 10 to 20 feet (3 to 6 meters), based on illustrations provided by NP Aerospace.
The company said the pods will offer significant ballistic protection and modularity for deployment across various vehicles or on-ground storage use.
