Israeli defense giant Elbit Systems is set to introduce its new PAWS-2 (High Resolution) missile warning system at the Paris Air Show, running from June 16–22. The system targets the growing complexity of airspace threats.
With a cooled mid-wave infrared sensor delivering over five megapixels of resolution, the PAWS-2 HR is designed to protect military aircraft by offering superior detection clarity across a wide threat spectrum.
The passive system offers long-range coverage, detects missile launches in real time, and accurately determines their origin. Enhanced threat filtering and faster response mechanisms reduce false alarms and ensure smoother mission execution.
