Ukraine’s frontline units are now deploying what NeoLens describes as the first-ever AI-driven maintenance assistant for military vehicles. The US startup, founded by individuals with Ukrainian ties, has rolled out its NeoLens AI tool to help troops rapidly troubleshoot and repair essential armored platforms. According to the company, the technology is already saving hours in maintenance time, offering a critical boost to battlefield sustainment operations.

The AI assistant currently supports several American vehicles widely used by Ukrainian forces, including Humvees, MaxxPro MRAPs, and M113 APCs. Soldiers can use the system to run automatic diagnostics, pinpoint mechanical issues, and receive expert-level repair steps—all without relying on prior technical knowledge. This makes the tool particularly valuable for units operating far from traditional maintenance support.

Designed for harsh combat environments, the NeoLens system is built to operate completely offline, ensuring uninterrupted functionality even in areas where communications infrastructure has been degraded. By providing intuitive, on-the-spot repair guidance, the tool helps crews keep vital equipment operational and improves overall fleet availability for frontline missions.
