A new drone system designed to intercept Iranian-made Shahed UAVs has been introduced by the Ukrainian Air Force. These drones, often used by Russia, are now being met with a targeted countermeasure.
The interceptor drone employs a first-person view setup and is launched using a mobile catapult. Its streamlined design ensures rapid field deployment—even by soldiers with basic drone skills.
Built with a fixed-wing layout and lightweight carbon fiber construction, the UAS is engineered for endurance, enabling it to operate effectively at extended ranges and elevated altitudes.
