At its shipyard in San Fernando, Spanish defense contractor Navantia has cut the steel of the seventh Avante 2200-class corvette for the Royal Saudi Naval Force. Three months after the program’s first corvette, the ceremony officially begins building the vessel.The initiative’s work includes crew training services and integrated logistics assistance.
