L3Harris Technologies has achieved a major production landmark by delivering its three-millionth M734A1 mortar fuze to the US Army.
Engineered to NATO standards, the M734A1 acts as a proximity and range-setting device for 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm high-explosive mortars. Its configurable burst options allow forces to tailor detonation heights for maximum battlefield impact, while enhanced safety systems safeguard friendly troops.
This accomplishment follows the delivery of around 500,000 fuzes in fiscal 2025, marking a sharp year-on-year increase. Concurrently, the company’s Missile Solutions division is preparing for a significant investment to expand solid rocket motor production.
