South Korea has unveiled its vision for future naval warfare through the Ghost Commander II, a carrier designed to fuse human-piloted jets and robotic systems into one battlefield network.
Crafted by Hanwha Ocean, this concept vessel is equipped to launch and support autonomous and crewed units across all domains—air, surface, and subsurface.
Lead developer Jeon Seoungbaem cited China’s Type 076 as a structural inspiration, emphasizing the carrier’s role in strategic maritime surveillance and recon missions.
