Hanwha Aerospace and Estonia-based Frankenburg Technologies have formalized cooperation to jointly develop next-generation C-UAS solutions tailored for armored combat vehicles. Under the agreement, Frankenburg will focus on interceptor missiles, launcher subsystems, and fire-control technologies, while Hanwha will embed the capability into its evolving land warfare platforms. The initiative reflects the increasing demand for layered protection against drone swarms and precision loitering munitions in modern conflicts. Beyond technology integration, the partnership reinforces deepening bilateral defense relations, building on Estonia’s procurement of South Korean artillery systems such as the Chunmoo MLRS and K9 howitzers, signaling closer industrial and operational alignment between the two nations.
