The HUGIN Superior autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) prototype has been delivered by Kongsberg Discovery to a huge undersea drone project for the US Navy. It comes after the prototype’s acceptance trials in Norway were concluded earlier this year.Last year, a team from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) carried out a thorough technology evaluation on the platform.
