Indra Group of Spain and Italy’s Leonardo have sealed a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint efforts in cyber defense and expand operations across Europe, NATO markets, and beyond.

The MoU, signed in Rome by Indra CEO José Vicente de los Mozos and Leonardo CEO Roberto Cingolani, seeks to fortify digital resilience for critical infrastructure while encouraging innovation in cybersecurity solutions.

Through the partnership, the companies plan to deliver integrated cyber technologies, expert training, and managed security services to public and private clients, coordinating their analysis and response to emerging digital threats.

Ángel Escribano, executive chairman of Indra, emphasized that the agreement will advance European industrial integration and strengthen collaborative bids. Both groups employ over 60,000 people globally, with significant staff concentrations in Spain and Italy.
