India has unveiled the “Sanjay,” a state-of-the-art battlefield monitoring technology that will greatly improve the Indian Army’s operational capabilities. The technology, which was developed in partnership with state-owned Bharat Electronics Limited, combines information from several aerial and ground sensors to produce a single “common surveillance picture” of the battlefield.According to reports, this cutting-edge capability improves precision, gets rid of redundancy, and makes the best use of the nation’s satellite communication network and army data network.
