Swedish defense giant Saab has partnered with Canadian training leader CAE to deliver comprehensive training solutions for the GlobalEye AEW&C aircraft. The agreement, signed during the Swedish Royal Visit to Canada, marks a significant step in expanding combined aerospace and defense capabilities.

Under the newly formalized arrangement, CAE is designated as Saab’s global training and simulation partner, responsible for delivering advanced training support across all GlobalEye operators. The deal also features a country-specific training program tailored for Canada, aligning with its future AEW&C requirements.

The partnership unites Saab’s knowledge in airborne early warning systems, integrated command capabilities, and multi-domain surveillance with CAE’s proven strengths in high-fidelity ground training and simulation technology. This ensures an end-to-end training ecosystem for aircrews and mission specialists.

As part of the effort, CAE will create cutting-edge simulators, mission rehearsal systems, and digital training environments covering pilot training, mission execution, and sustainment support. These programs will be delivered through CAE’s global network of training centers, ensuring consistent operational readiness across international GlobalEye fleets.
