Airbus Defence and Space has been given a contract by the French defense procurement agency (DGA) to create a communications network for the French surface and undersea fleets. The capability will be put into over 80 ships between 2028 and 2032, and the 480 million euro ($502.7 million) project includes its deployment, assembly, and operational maintenance.
