The Future Mine Countermeasures System (SLAMF) program has awarded the first mine warfare surface drone to the French Navy. A towed sonar attached to a portable operations center situated in Brest, the nation’s second-largest military port, is part of the drone.The system is expected to be operational for the first time by the end of 2025
