French defense innovator Harmattan AI is enhancing Ukrainian drone capabilities with a radar system that overcomes cloud cover, fog, and nighttime conditions.
Called “Sahara,” the synthetic-aperture radar is built to detect camouflaged forces and concealed hardware from afar.
The sub-3.5-kilogram system operates on just 65 watts of power, capturing detailed imagery and processing it onboard in near real time to ensure resilience in challenging and contested environments.
