Haifa-based Elbit Systems has announced two new contracts totaling $260 million to provide advanced airborne munitions for Israel’s Ministry of Defense. The deals reflect Israel’s continued investment in precision strike capabilities amid evolving security challenges.
The company did not specify which systems will be delivered under the agreements. However, Elbit’s current airborne weapons lineup includes the GATR laser-guided rocket, the MPR500 bunker-busting precision munition, and the versatile PULS artillery system, which supports multiple rocket types.
Other key products in its catalog are the Rampage long-range missile and the SkyStriker loitering munition, designed for high-value target engagement. These systems highlight Elbit’s expertise in scalable, precision-guided strike technologies.
Elbit’s track record with the IDF includes supplying the Iron Sting guided mortar with dual laser/GPS capability, the Lizard 3 bomb guidance kit, and the SPICE family of precision-guided bombs. These solutions have already played a central role in enhancing Israel’s operational readiness.
