Lobster Robotics is collaborating with the Dutch Ministry of Defence to upgrade its Scout underwater drone into a defense-capable asset.
Originally intended for civilian underwater tasks, the Scout is now being reconfigured for naval missions, including subsea reconnaissance and mine hunting. Its integration of high-end optics, illumination tools, and smart mapping technology enables automatic generation of seafloor visuals, streamlining operations by minimizing manual video inspection.
