DJI is aiming to redefine the future of unmanned cargo transport with its newly launched FlyCart 100 (FC100), a powerful heavy-lift drone capable of supporting payloads of up to 100 kilograms (220 pounds). The platform is designed for demanding logistics missions where traditional delivery systems face limitations.
The FC100 features a strengthened wing structure and lightweight carbon-fiber propellers that enhance stability and flight performance. DJI states that the drone can achieve a range of 12 kilometers using dual batteries, while a single-battery configuration provides 6 kilometers of operational endurance—an adaptable setup for diverse delivery requirements.
To support high-frequency operations, the FlyCart 100 offers fast-charging compatibility with industrial-grade chargers and generators. One of its key safety features is the drone’s dual-battery architecture, which allows for in-flight battery switching, ensuring continuous power and reducing operational risk during long-distance or high-payload missions.
With the release of the FC100, DJI continues expanding beyond traditional consumer drones, positioning itself as a leading player in the heavy-cargo UAV market and opening new possibilities for commercial logistics, emergency supply delivery, and remote-area operations.
