Orlando-based LightPath will supply advanced cooled infrared imaging systems under a multi-million-dollar defense agreement. The solutions incorporate built-in cooling to conceal system heat emissions while sustaining imaging clarity in demanding environments. Shipments are scheduled through 2026. The award strengthens LightPath’s position in the defense optics market following its $27 million acquisition of G5 Infrared, a New Hampshire firm that generated approximately $15 million in profits in fiscal 2024.
