The Fast Raiding Interception and Special Forces Craft (FRISC) of the Netherlands Armed Forces will be replaced by 13 ships built by De Haas Shipyards. Compared to their predecessors, the new boats will feature improved sensors, communication systems, and weapons compatibility.The fleet will also have updated hulls and seats to lessen the physical strain on people while operating in harsh areas, and it will be harder for antagonistic trackers to identify.
