MITS Capital, a Ukrainian-American investment group, has launched MITS Industries, a Danish-Ukrainian defense company formed to consolidate Ukraine’s most advanced drone and defense technology producers. The initiative is intended to streamline innovation, accelerate scaling, and attract institutional capital to fuel global growth.

The new entity combines the strengths of several established players in Ukraine’s defense ecosystem. Among them are Tencore, recognized for its expertise in unmanned ground robots; Infozahyst, a leading SIGINT firm with 20 years of operational history; and Unwave, one of Ukraine’s largest suppliers of electronic warfare systems. In addition, a prominent air drone manufacturer has joined the group, though its name has not been publicly disclosed. MITS Capital will provide both financial backing and strategic coordination.

With an ambitious target of generating over $200 million in revenue by 2026, MITS Industries will adopt a drone-as-a-service approach. This model will support the production of advanced drones and counter-drone systems tailored to land, air, and sea missions. By integrating technologies across multiple domains, the company aims to deliver scalable solutions that meet both domestic military requirements and international demand.

The timing aligns with Ukraine’s rapidly growing defense sector, which the government expects to surpass $35 billion in capacity by 2025. As local private production now exceeds national demand, Ukraine is increasingly positioned to expand its defense exports. The launch of MITS Industries highlights the country’s effort to transform battlefield innovation into sustainable global defense capabilities.
