CAE has been chosen by Canada to create the Future Fighter Lead-in Training (FFLIT) program for the Royal Canadian Air Force. The goal of Ottawa’s FFLIT program is to train pilots to fly the service’s upcoming fleet of combat aircraft, namely the fifth-generation Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter jets. The Quebec-based organization will serve as a strategic partner, helping to design, improve, and launch the effort. All procedures will guarantee that the committed staff will have the necessary abilities to operate the “complex and significantly capable” planes across changing domains.
