The US Space Force has awarded CACI International a contract worth up to $212 million over five years to deliver enterprise network infrastructure upgrades across its domestic installations. The initiative aims to strengthen connectivity, cybersecurity, and digital integration as space-related military missions become more complex and data-intensive.
The contract is part of the Department of Defense’s Enterprise IT as a Service Base Infrastructure Modernization program, a long-term effort with a $12.5 billion ceiling designed to sustain and modernize network capabilities across US air and space forces. CACI will focus on consolidating and modernizing aging network systems to ensure uninterrupted, secure communications for mission-critical operations.
As part of the effort, the company will modernize base area networks that support internal communications between living quarters, command posts, and operational facilities at 14 Space Force bases. These upgrades are intended to improve data flow, network resilience, and operational efficiency while supporting future digital transformation initiatives.
Separately, CACI continues to expand its defense technology portfolio through support to the US Army’s electronic warfare and countermeasure programs. A recently awarded $79 million contract tasks the company with developing advanced radio-frequency tools to counter hostile electronic threats, reinforcing survivability and combat performance across explosive ordnance disposal and electronic warfare missions.
