The British Army has chosen a communication solution from Persistent Systems to equip the 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team. The Wave Relay system allows soldiers to share voice, data, video, and location information without relying on fixed communication networks. Using MANET technology, the system enables mobile devices to connect dynamically, allowing signals to reroute automatically if one node moves out of range or is destroyed.
